Calligaris
In 1923, Antonio Calligaris began his modest business by making the "Marocca" chair, a typical Manzano style from Friuli. In the early years, there were only a few machines, and most of the work was done by hand, primarily by women who wove the seats and finished the chairs. Calligaris later expanded its product line to include entire furnishing solutions such as chairs, tables, beds, sofas, furniture, and decorative accessories. In 1998, Calligaris established its first American subsidiary in High Point, North Carolina. Calligaris is dependable for its "can do" attitude and passion, ingenious in offering clever products with intelligent design, and affordable in terms of pricing, use, and flexibility. Today, the vast line of Calligaris furniture includes chairs, tables, living rooms, and bedrooms.
